Arts Presenters requests $100,000 for the development of multi-level
marketing courses, a senior think tank on building audiences for classical
music, and training for performing artists on the business of presenting and
touring the performing arts. These Initiatives are guided by the mission of Arts
Presenters and are based on the results of a commissioned study of its
continuing education programs. The findings of this research were reported in
The Masterplan for a Continuing Education Program submitted to the Board of
Directors in June 1998.
Arts Presenters is seeking support for three distinct areas of the continuing
education arm of Cultural Participation Programs.
I. Creation of a Multi-level Marketing Training program designed to improve
sales and meet short-term organizational revenue goals.
II. Arts Presenters plans to build on its successful Classical Connections
program to address long-term development of audiences for classical music.
III. Arts Presenters will provide training opportunities for performing artists
in classical music through its Young Performers Career Advancement program.
