Program options: (Note - Participants in all options will be supported by Early Head Start staff and a community-wide network of service providers.)
1) Early Head Start centers in Woodbury, Gloucester County and Penns Grove, Salem County that will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for 12 months per year.
2) Licensed child care centers in Woodbury - a private entity - and in Vineland, where the School District has developed a nationally recognized model program that combines school and community resources. Both centers are full-day, year-round facilities.
3) Registered Family Day Care providers throughout all three counties that will set hours according to parents' needs.
Target date: The program expects to begin providing full services to infants, toddlers and pregnant women within 6 months of the grant award and to be at full capacity within 9 months of the award.
